The Issan is Coze's entry level luxury down quilt. Extremely high quality, ethically sourced, and a luxurious example of a fine down duvet.
It is for those that are interested in the majesty and performance of a true down duvet without the cost attached to higher down percentage fillings.
Lightweight, yet warm, and with good loft, the Issan is an enjoyable experience that will keep you warm, and cozy at night.
The down is formed in a multiple baffle box stitch, and wrapped in a 233 Thread Count, 100% Cotton Percale shell.
The Issan is available in three tog levels to suit both the seasons and your preference.
Coze work with the best duck breeders in the French Pyrenean Mountain as they believe it to be the finest available globally. The Coze Pyrannean down is ethically produced and comes from ducks farmed for food as opposed to those raised for plucking. No mass production, but fewer, better quality pieces that are designed for the ultimate in luxury and comfort. Coze work alongside their colleagues in the French Pyrenees with a relationship that is built on a solid foundation of craftsmanship and knowledge. Box stitching is synonymous with lower tog ratings and thinner duvets designed for the warmer, summer months. The duvet is gridded where each segment is stitched closed and filled with our Pyrenean duck feather and down. For higher tog rating and warmer, thicker duvet, Baffle stitching is used, that keeps that gridded format more open and is filled more abundantly with the Pyrenean duck down and feather. Traditionally there are three seasonal tog ratings that should determine the duvet you use. 4.5 for the Summer, 9.5 for the Spring and 13.5 for the Winter months. Sleeping with the Issan is an introduction to what sleeping with a high quality Down duvet is all about. There is a feel to the drape and enjoyment that only a Down duvet of this quality that can provide. It is soft, light and airy, easy to lie under, or cuddle into. If you have not experienced the highest tier of Down duvets before, it is an experience that we know finds favour and appreciation with all and is certainly amoungst the ultimate luxury quilts of the world and an asset to your sleep.

Learn moreSleep Engineering doesn't have to be overly technical. When considering our quilt ranges, standard UK 'tog' measures are largely inappopriate as most of our quilts are temperature regulating and therefore can not be classified with 'tog'. Our quilts react to you and your body temperature. So we try and keep things simple. Summer soft means that the quilt is lightweight and suitable for those that sleep in consistent temperature environments year round (i.e you use the heating in the winter). Our 'winter warmth' ranges are heavier, warmer, and suitable for the coldest months, and anyone who would naturally say that they require a high level of warmth from their quilt. In practice, the choise is easy and self evident, particulary in person at the Rested Experience.
